[Nanocubes-discuss] How to generate two histogram bar plots?

Rensheng Wang
I can use “ —catcol= category1 ….” to generate one histogram bar plot.
If I have two categorical columns,  category1, category2,  how to generate both histogram bar plots?

Thanks!

Roger

Perfect!

After I upgrade to the new version 2.1.2.  , "--catcol=cat1,cat2”  shows two bar plots.

Thanks a lot!

Now it comes some weird case, it might be related the time stamps.

I use the column “time” to generate a new categorical column “day” by truncating the hour:min:sec after the delimiter “T”.

Sample records:

time,lat,lon,area,day
2014-07-31T17:49:30,33.7704167,-84.9076056,AR,2014-07-31
2014-07-31T17:50:00,33.7804167,-84.7978056,BR,2014-07-31
2014-07-31T17:50:30,33.7804167,-84.7978056,BR,2014-07-31
...

The column day is part of column time by removing hour, min, sec information.

If I run "-- catcol=area,day ",

the histogram of column "day" always show two bars only, no matter how many days you have in the data.

Otherwise, if I run some other categorical columns, it works well.

Just want to post this for your attention.

Many thanks again.
